When Zaros had the staff imbedd in his back his power was weakened so greatly that the greatest of all gods was now on an equal field with mortals and so zamorak fought him.

Even though Zamorak was the strongest mortal of all time and Zaros in his weakened state Zaros was still able to best Zamorak but as Zaros him in his grasp ready to deliver the death blow Zamorak gave a mighty kick to him causing him to lose his footing and send the staff of Armydayl which was previously only just barley in his skin to impale him and Zamorak. From this however some of Zaros's diviity was transfered to Zamorak and he became a god while Zaros was forced into another dimension.

The Zamorakian symbol is similar to an up-side-down (T) . Zamorak is portrayed as a larger figure with a red tint in his face and horns resembling Satan and other demons of the Judeo-Christian religion.
